This privacy policy is about how this website collects and uses information about visitors. The policy contains information you are entitled to when information is collected from our website, and general information about how we process personal data. Arctic Seafarm AS is the data controller for the processing of personal data on this website. It is voluntary for visitors to the website to provide personal data in connection with services such as the contact form. The basis for processing is the consent of the individual, unless otherwise specified.

Web Analytics and Cookies
As an important part of the work of creating a user-friendly website, we look at the usage patterns of those who visit the website.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to analyze website traffic and improve user experience. The service uses cookies (small text files that are stored on your device) and may process information about which pages are visited, how long the visit lasts, which websites users come from, as well as device and browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store individual IP addresses. The information is stored on Google's servers in the EU and the USA and is subject to Google's privacy policy. Google Analytics is only loaded if you have accepted statistics cookies in the cookie banner. Event data is stored for 2 months and user data for 14 months.
Meta Pixel
We use Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of ads and to be able to show you more relevant ads after you visit the website. The pixel records which pages you visit, any actions you take (such as filling out a form) and a browser ID (_fbp). It is only loaded if you have accepted marketing cookies in the cookie banner.
Storage: The information is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. The _fbp cookie is deleted after 3 months. Meta's own storage period for received information follows Meta's privacy policy.
Your choices: You can withdraw your consent at any time via the privacy icon at the bottom left of the page, or change settings on your Facebook account.
Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to monitor and improve our visibility in Google searches, and to detect any technical errors or performance issues on the website. This tool does not collect or process any personal data about you as a user.
Storage: No user data is stored locally or identifiable in the system.
Purpose: Pure technical monitoring and search engine optimization.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, telephone number, company name and what you write in the message. We only use the information to respond to the inquiry and follow up on any further dialogue. The basis is our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
Storage: Submissions are stored with our website provider Wix and deleted no later than 6 months after the inquiry has been closed.
Site and Service Functionality
Cookies are used in the operation and presentation of data from websites. Such cookies may contain information about the language code for the language selected by the user. There may be cookies with information that supports the load balancing of the system so that all users are ensured the best possible experience. For services that require login or search, cookies may be used to ensure that the service presents data to the right recipient.

Who processes the information?
We use the following suppliers as data processors:
– Wix.com Ltd.: operation of the website and storage of the contact form. Storage location: EU, USA and Israel.
– Google Ireland Ltd.: Google Analytics. Storage location: EU and USA.
– Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.: Meta Pixel. Storage location: EU and USA.
– Usercentrics GmbH: cookie banner and consent log. Storage location: EU.
Transfers outside the EEA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decisions (Israel and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the EU's standard contractual clauses (SCC).
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we have about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have the processing restricted, to have the information provided (data portability), to object to the processing and to withdraw consent at any time. Send your inquiry to post@arcticseafarm.no. We will respond within 30 days.
If you believe that we are processing personal data in violation of the regulations, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
