Privacy Policy

Privacy

This privacy policy explains how this website collects and uses information about its visitors. It contains information you are entitled to receive when personal data is collected from our website, as well as general information about how we process personal data. The legal owner of this website is the data controller responsible for the organisation’s processing of personal data. Providing personal information through services such as subscribing to newsletters or using share/tip functions is entirely voluntary. The legal basis for processing is the individual’s consent, unless otherwise specified.

Web Analytics and Cookies

As part of our ongoing work to create a user-friendly website, we analyse usage patterns from visitors to our site.

Google Analytics

To analyse this information, we use the tool Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files stored on your device) that collect users’ IP addresses and provide insight into their activity on our site. Examples of the statistics we receive include: the number of visitors to different pages, how long visits last, which websites users come from, and which browsers are used. None of these cookies allow us to link data about your use of the website to you as an individual. The data collected by Google Analytics is stored on Google’s servers in the United States and is subject to Google’s privacy policy. An IP address is considered personal data, as it can be linked to specific hardware and potentially to an individual. However, we use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled. This means your IP address is anonymised before it is stored and processed by Google, and therefore cannot be used to identify you personally.

Facebook Pixel (Meta Pixel)

We use the Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, and to show you more relevant ads after visiting our website. The Pixel tracks: which pages you visit, and which actions you take (such as submitting a form or completing a purchase)

– provided you have given consent for marketing cookies.

Data storage: Data is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. for as long as your consent remains active.

Your choices: You can withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie banner or by changing your settings in your Facebook account.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor and improve our visibility in Google Search and to identify technical issues or performance problems on our website. This tool does not collect or process any personal data about you as a user.

Data storage: No user data is stored locally or in any identifiable way.

Purpose: Strictly for technical monitoring and search engine optimisation (SEO).

Search Function

If the website includes a search feature, information about the search terms used by visitors may be stored in Google Analytics. The purpose of this is to help us improve the relevance and quality of the information we provide. Search usage data is stored in aggregated form. Only the search terms themselves are stored – they are not linked to any other user information, such as IP addresses.

Share/Tip Function

"Share with Others” Function. The “Share with others” feature allows you to forward links from our website via email or share content on social media platforms. We do not log any information related to the sharing activity. The data is used only at the time of sharing, in order to complete the action on the chosen platform. However, we cannot guarantee that the social media platforms do not log this information. We therefore recommend using such services with discretion. If you use the email sharing function, any email addresses entered are used solely to forward the message – and are not stored by us in any way.

Mailchimp

Newsletter Subscription. The website may send out newsletters by email if you have registered to receive them. In order to do so, you must provide your email address. We use Mailchimp as our data processor for newsletter distribution. Your email address is stored in a separate database, is not shared with third parties, and is deleted when you unsubscribe. Email addresses are also deleted if we receive a notification that the address is no longer active.

Site and Service Functionality

Cookies are used in the operation and presentation of data from the website. These cookies may include information such as the language code corresponding to the language selected by the user. Some cookies help support system load balancing, ensuring all users receive the best possible experience. For services that require login or search functionality, cookies may be used to ensure that data is displayed correctly to the intended recipient.
